The University of Ghana (UG), Legon, Accra, has awarded renowned actress Jackie Appiah a Master of Arts in Communication Studies degree.
Ms. Appiah studied at the same institution for a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and Information Studies, graduating in February 2022.
“The journey was worth every step! I am overwhelmed with not just gratitude but joy, as well. To everyone who believed in me, stood by me, and cheered me on, thank you from the depths of my heart,” Jackie Appiah wrote on Instagram (IG) on Thursday, February 13, 2025.
In recent times, creative arts figures are returning to school in what has been lauded as an inspiring trend.
