The 70th Anniversary of Osu Presbyterian Senior High School commenced with a clean-up exercise at the school premises and its immediate environs.
This exercise follows the official launch of the 70th anniversary in January, 2026.
Mrs. Dorcas Okine, the President of the old students association (OPOSA) in an interview, said that since every celebration starts with a good house cleaning, the Central Planning Committee thought it wise to start the entire anniversary with a clean-up exercise to set the tone for the other programmes.
According to the OPOSA President, there is a year- long programme line up for the 70th anniversary celebration which includes a Night with Uncle Ebo Whyte, Bonfire Night, and the Homecoming of the Alumni. “To crown it all will be the 70th Anniversary Speech and Prize Giving Day as well as a Thanksgiving Service.”, she added.
As part of the programme, some of the students and alumni benefited from free health screening after the clean – up exercise.
