
President John Dramani Mahama has nominated three more regional ministers and six sector ministers to serve in his government.
The nominees for the regional ministerial positions include Wilbert Petty Brentum, Western-North Region; Joseph Nelson, Western Region and Eduamoah Ekow Panyin Okyere, Central Region.
Persons nominated for the six sectors also include Kwame Governs Agbodza (MP), Roads and Highways Ministry; Eric Opoku (MP), Food and Agriculture Ministry; Agnes Naa Momo Lartey (MP), Gender, Children and Social Protection Ministry; Emelia Arthur (MP), Fisheries and Aquaculture Ministry; George Opare-Addo, Youth Development and Empowerment Ministry; Haruna Iddrisu (MP), Education Ministry; Ahmed Ibrahim (MP), Local Government, Chieftaincy and Religious Affairs and Elizabeth Ofosu Adjare (MP), Trade, Agribusiness and Industry Ministry
In a press statement issued and signed by the acting Spokesperson for the President, Felix Kwakye Ofosu, the names of the nominees have been submitted to Parliament through the Speaker of Parliament for prior approval.
