The Students Loan Trust Fund (SLTF) has announced that professional law students from the Ghana School of Law are now eligible to apply for full fee coverage loans under the Students Loan Plus initiative.
According to a statement issued on October 29, 2025, the inclusion of law students follows a directive from President John Dramani Mahama aimed at expanding access to the national student loan scheme.
The move is part of the government’s broader commitment to promoting higher education and supporting professional development through innovative financing solutions.
The SLTF noted that this initiative ensures that professional law students can access financial support without facing unnecessary barriers.
Applicants can visit the “No Fees Stress Portal” at www.sltf.gov.gh, select the Students Loan Plus option, and follow a simple application process.
The Fund’s team is also available via email at info@sltf.gov.gh or through its helplines 0302751020 and 0264043072 to provide assistance.
The SLTF reiterated its commitment to fostering equitable access to higher education for all Ghanaians, emphasising that no student should be denied the opportunity to pursue their studies due to financial constraints.
