The Chairperson of Osu Presbyterian Senior High School 1989 Alumni (OPOSA 89), Mrs. Dorcas Okine has called on old students to participate in their alumni gatherings in order to manage daily stress.
She said that one way to manage the daily stress is to take the time off and join classmates for a refreshing time.
The OPOSA 89 Chairperson said this at a special lunch organized by the alumni to mark the end of the 35th anniversary celebration of the alumni at Osu in Accra.
According to Mrs. Okine, adults go through a lot of daily stress and these gatherings do not only serve as platforms to link up for effective networking but for socialization too.
The occasion was used to honour few of the former tutors of the school who have immensely contributed to academic work whiles in school.
Earlier in the day, the alumni joined the Endtime Charismatic Chapel at La in Accra for a thanksgiving service.
Preaching the sermon, the Head Pastor, Reverend Emmanuel Ako Nunoo called on Ghanaians to build their capacity to ensure they remain relevant in the current dispensation.
He said that by building capacity, people can take advantage of opportunities available to them.
He expressed his appreciation to the alumni for deciding to join the service on such a special occasion to give thanks to God.
