Passion For Needy, an NGO set up to provide need-based assistance to the needy in society has presented babies’ blankets, plastic chairs and veronica buckets to the Korle – Bu Teaching Hospital.
The Chairperson for Passion For Needy, Mrs. Janet Torgbor El – Aschkar in her remarks said that the presentation is meant to address some of the challenges facing the facility.
She thanked the workers for continuously taking care of the sick despite the challenges that they encounter during service delivery.
Receiving the items on behalf of the facility, the Director for Nursing and Midwifery Services, Rev. Aimee Akotey and the Head of Engagement, Department of Child Health, Ms. Lawrencia Akweley Turkson both thanked Passion For Needy for the kind gesture. They urged other individuals and organisations to emulate the example of Passion For Needy.
