National Folklore Board Welcomes Parliamentary Select Committee Members

The Parliamentary Select Committee on Local Government,Chieftaincy and Religious Affairs led by the Chairman, Honourable Fred Kyei Asamoah paid a working visit to the National Folklore Board.

In a short welcome address, the Executive Director, Mr. Felix Yao Adjavor thanked the members for the visit and used the opportunity to explain the role of the National Folklore Board in promoting, protecting and preserving Ghana’s cultural heritage and the challenges faced by the institution to deliver on the mandate.

Members of the Committee after the deliberation, made preliminary recommendations to help improve the operations of the institution.
