Three regional ministers and fourteen sector ministers have been nominated by the President, His Excellency John Dramani Mahama to serve in his government.

The regional ministerial nominees include Puozuing Charles Lwanga, Upper West Region; Joseph Addae Akwaboa, Bono Region and Francis Owusu Antwi, Bono East Region.

Sector ministerial nominees also include Dr. Edward Kofi Omane Boamah, Defence Ministry; Samuel Nartey George (MP), Communication, Digital Technology and Innovation Ministry; Emmanuel Armah-Kofi Buah  (MP), Lands and Natural Resources Ministry; Kofi Adams (MP), Sports and Recreation Ministry; Abdul-Rashid H. Pelpuo, Labour, Jobs and Employment Ministry; Kwabena Mintah Akandoh (MP), Health Ministry;  Ibrahim Murtala Muhammed (MP), Environment, Science and Technology Ministry; Joseph Bukari Nikpe (MP), Transport Ministry; Muntaka Mohammed – Mubarak (MP), Interior Ministry; Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa (MP), Foreign Affairs Ministry and Kenneth Gilbert Adjei, Works, Housing and Water Resources.

A press statement issued and signed by the acting Spokesperson for the President, Felix Kwakye Ofosu further explained that the names of the nominees have been submitted to Parliament through the Speaker of Parliament for prior approval.
